“Revolution begins with the self, in the self”

Therapy with Eliza Jaquez, LMFT
Therapy offers a safe, supportive space where meaningful growth and healing can begin. I am dedicated to working collaboratively with you to explore your concerns and make sense of the experiences shaping your well-being. Together, we’ll uncover internal conflicts, recurring patterns, and the ways your past continues to influence your present. By understanding the root causes of your challenges, you can move toward lasting change and relief.

I am a licensed psychotherapist in New York City with a Master of Science degree from Mercy College. I completed postgraduate training in Adult Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at NYU’s Institute for Psychoanalytic Education, as well as a three-year Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Certificate at the Institute for Psychoanalytic Training & Research (IPTAR). I am currently a candidate in IPTAR’s four-year Advanced Certificate Program in Adult Psychoanalysis. My experience spans work with children, adolescents, and adults. Before transitioning into psychotherapy, I spent a decade in the corporate financial technology sector—an experience that deepened my understanding of high-pressure environments and life transitions.

I believe everyone deserves a space to explore and express the most authentic version of themselves. Considering therapy is already a powerful first step toward greater balance, self-understanding, and a more flexible way of approaching life’s challenges.
